Compressor is a mechanical device that functions to increase the pressure of an incompressible fluid, namely gas or air. The purpose of increasing the pressure can be to flow or process requirements in a larger process system.
In simple terms, the function of the compressor is to take gas or air from the surroundings, to then be pressurized in the tube and channeled back as compressed air.
